Albert I. Pierce FoundationDeadline: November 15, 2015
The Albert I. Pierce Foundation is a private charitable foundation which supports the environment and the arts by offering opportunities for professional development, communication, and partnership. Its goal is to encourage and nurture skills, talents, and services necessary to ensure that our communities continue to be desirable places to live and work. The Foundation recognizes that increasing educational levels in a community can reduce social problems and their related costs as well. To that end, the Foundation seeks initiatives that perform the following:
- expand awareness and involvement in programs related to education, arts, and the environment
- encourage public participation in educational, environmental and art projects
- develop or conserve valuable environmental and cultural resources for public use and posterity
The Foundation supports community initiatives that address critical as well as major cultural and heritage enrichment programs.
