Albert I. Pierce Foundation

The mission of the Albert I. Pierce Foundation is to memorialize its benefactor through grants which enrich the cultural life, education, and environment primarily of the citizens of New Mexico. The goal is to encourage and nurture skills, talents, and services necessary to ensure that communities continue to be desirable places to live and work. The Foundation seeks to fund initiatives that perform the following: expand awareness and involvement in programs related to education, arts, and the environment; encourage public participation in educational, environmental, and art projects; and develop or conserve valuable environmental and cultural resources for public use and posterity. The Foundation will also support community initiatives that address critical as well as major cultural and heritage enrichment programs.

Amount: $5,000 awards; A cost share of at least 25% of the grant award is required.

Eligibility: Nonprofit organizations.
