APS Education Foundation: Walmart Blue Sky Grant

The Blue Sky Grant is aimed at helping Albuquerque Public Schools (APS) middle school leaders fund a key need that will improve school culture, increase student engagement or improve academic achievement in the 2016-2017 school year. The grant is not designed to address a single-classroom issue and is envisioned as an avenue that helps large groups of students.

Amount: Proposals of up to $15,000 will be considered. Three APS middle schools received funding through Blue Sky last spring, but there may be only one award this year.

Eligibility: Submissions are limited to comprehensive APS middle schools and schools of choice serving students in grades 6-8. Schools that received a Success Grant from the Foundation in the 2015-2016 school year are not eligible to apply.
