City of Albuquerque Department of Family and Community Services: Winter Shelter Social Services and Behavioral Health Services for Fiscal Year 2016Deadline: April 24, 2015
The purpose of this request for proposals is to solicit innovative and effective proposals from qualified non-profit organizations interested in providing services for populations in need of specific social services. The project activities/scope of services for this solicitation are for winter shelter services and emergency van services for homeless men, women, and families. Services for this program must include, but are not limited to:
- Provision of safe and secure emergency winter shelter for homeless men, women and families
- Provision of emergency transportation services for homeless men, women, and families to appropriate overnight winter shelters
- Coordination with community support services relevant to the individual needs of the shelter residents, including obtaining permanent housing
Amount: $331,788 will be allocated toward this initiative.
Eligibility: An agency which is a unit of state or local government and/or an agency currently incorporated as a nonprofit corporation, duly registered and in good standing with the State of New Mexico Public Regulation Commission, which has not-for-profit status under 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Code and which has demonstrated capability in providing the services for which it is applying is an eligible responder for award of a contract pursuant to this RFP.
Note: There is a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on March 24, 2015.
