Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust
The DAV Charitable Service Trust is dedicated to empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. The Trust typically supports programs that provide the following:
- Food, shelter, and other necessary items to homeless or at-risk veterans
- Mobility items or assistance specific to veterans with blindness or vision loss, hearing loss, or amputations
- Therapeutic or recreational activities for veterans and/or their families
- Education or training for veterans seeking career-readiness and skill development
Funds have also been awarded to support the families and caregivers of veterans in acknowledgement of the extended barriers faced by countless loved ones.
Amount: Grants average $10,000-$20,000.
Eligibility: Tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations. Giving is on a national basis.
