Farmers Insurance: Dream Big Teacher Challenge

Teachers who have a big dream are encouraged to submit a proposal. Potential dreams include big dreams that may change a community, or a big idea to help better prepare students for the future. Over the past few years, funding has supported programs like an outdoor learning center, an accessible playground for special needs students, and a student mentorship program with local business leaders.

Applications will be reviewed by a sponsor and the entries will be narrowed down to 15 finalists. The 15 finalists will then be required to go through a voting period online at at www.ThankAmericasTeachers.com and the general public can vote during this period.

Amount: Five prizes of $100,000 each will be awarded.

Eligibility: Full-time, employed school teachers (K-12th grade), who who are legal residents of the United States and who have been officially thanked at www.ThankAmericasTeachers.com (teachers can “thank themselves” online before applying @ https://www.farmers.com/thank-americas-teachers/thank-a-teacher/). The award will be paid in the winner’s name directly to a qualifying 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization as designated and set forth in the winning proposals.
