Hanley Family Foundation
The Hanley Family Foundation’s mission is to advance the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of alcoholism, chemical dependency, and addictive behavior, including support for related research and education. The Foundation supports organizations whose primary focus is to help individuals to recover from or avoid substance use disorder. Due to the lack of treatment services, opportunities to support new or expanding programs that will allow more people to seek recovery are particularly attractive.
Note that, for the current year, the Foundation has already expended the portion of its funds allocated for prevention efforts. As such, it is not supporting any further prevention-oriented projects at this time.
Amount: Grants typically range from $25,000-$75,000.
Eligibility: Tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations and organizations that qualify as public charities. Giving is on a national basis.
