Innovate+Educate and CenturyLink: Teacher and Technology Mini Grants
Innovate+Educate and the CenturyLink Clarke M. Williams Foundation is accepting applications for the Teachers and Technology competitive grant program for K-12 school teachers within the CenturyLink service areas who demonstrate an innovative use of technology with students. Awarded funds may be used for the following: professional development activities, learning tools and objects, content development to be shared as online resources (flip charts, lessons and or activities that integrate technology, multimedia learning content).
The purpose of the grant is to:
- Improve student learning experiences in the classroom;
- Recognize New Mexico teachers who are using technology in innovative ways with students;
- Increase an awareness of how teachers are using technology in the classroom;
- Model best practices with technology integration improving student achievement.
Amount: A total of $50,000 is available. Funds will be awarded during the 2014 – 2015 school year.
Eligibility: Full-time PreK-12 classroom teachers in public or private schools within CenturyLink residential service areas who have not received a grant in the last three years. CenturyLink service is neither required nor considered in review of applications.
