Lalor Foundation: Education Grants on Reproductive Health

The Anna Lalor Burdick Program seeks to educate young women about human reproduction in order to broaden and enhance their options in life. The program focuses particularly on young women who have inadequate access to information regarding reproductive health, including the subjects of contraception and pregnancy termination, and as such may be particularly lacking options in their lives. Funding interests include:

  • Programs for young women, particularly those who are disadvantaged by poverty, discrimination, geographic isolation, lack of specific sex education, hostile public policy, or other factors leading to inadequate reproductive health
  • Programs that include a comprehensive approach to sexual and reproductive health education
  • Programs that include novel ideas, including innovative methods of delivering information
  • Programs that incorporate advocacy or policy change, consistent with IRS 501(c)(3) status
  • Programs at new or smaller organizations, including those with a grassroots base, that are capable of delivering excellent services
  • Well defined projects at larger organizations if they add a new dimension or capability
  • Programs that will be exemplars for replication if successful
  • Programs that will be economically sustainable if they succeed

Amount: Grants will range from $10,000-$50,000.

Eligibility: Organizations with 501(c)(3) status.
