New Mexico Community Foundation: Health Awareness and Disease Prevention in Northeastern NM
New Mexico Community Foundation will make grants to nonprofit organizations and educational institutions that serve the northeastern part of the state in order to support, strengthen, and sustain new or expanding programs within the focus areas of health awareness and disease prevention. Health awareness and disease prevention may include programs for obesity prevention, nutrition education, substance abuse prevention, programs related to diabetes risk factors or cardiovascular risk factors, prenatal care, or asthma.
Amount: Grants will range from $5,000-$10,000 each.
Eligibility: Eligible organizations must serve the communities of San Miguel, Mora, Guadalupe, Colfax, Harding, Union, and/or Quay Counties.
