New Mexico Corrections Department: Family Reunification ServicesDeadline: April 28, 2015
New Mexico Corrections Department (NMCD) and the General Services Department are soliciting proposals to establish one or more contracts through competitive negotiations for the procurement of programs and services that will strengthen family bonds, reunite broken families, and enrich and improve family ties for inmates and their families through quality interaction and family workshops.
The scope of this procurement is twofold:
- The first is to provide Family Days events at eleven (11) prison facilities for inmates and their families. These events are to be structured around a different theme with a variety of associated activities.
- The second is to provide reentry preparation workshops at eleven (11) prison facilities to help prepare inmates and their families for their return to the community. These workshops must directly deal with family building and relationships.
Potential offerors are encouraged to propose on either of these two components or may propose on both. It is not necessary for an offeror to propose on both in order to be considered responsive to this solicitation. If proposing on both components, offerors are to clearly identify and distinctly propose on each component. Each component will be evaluated independently of the other. NMCD will award either one contract for both components or one contract for each, depending on what is determined to be in the best interests of NMCD. NMCD does not intend to award multiple contracts for each component.
Award: Contract award; amount not stated.
Eligibility: Offeror is defined as “any person, corporation, or partnership who chooses to submit a proposal.”
Note: A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held on March 26, 2015.
