New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission: Rental and Relocation AssistanceDeadline: June 24, 2016
The New Mexico Crime Victims Reparation Commission (NMCVRC) is seeking to establish a contract for the procurement of direct services and cash assistance to victims for the purpose of rental and relocation. The focus is to provide short-term immediate stabilization, relocation, and rental needs for victims of human traffic, domestic violence and sexual assault. NMCVRC will award nonprofit organizations that are regionally located throughout the New Mexico. It anticipates funding organizations that are geographically located in the northern, southern, and central regions of the state to address urban, suburban, rural, and tribal populations. The awarded organizations must be in good standing with NMCVRC and have sufficient cash flow to assist victims within a 24 hour time period for rental and relocation.
Amount: A total of $125,000 is available. Several contract awards may be made.
Eligibility: Only current Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) Victim Assistance and/or Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) nonprofit victim service contractors in good financial standing may apply. Contractors must have sufficient general fund cash flow in the amount of $20,000 or more for up to 60 days to accommodate immediate requests for approved assistance. Contractors must be regionally located to accommodate requests from their area of the state. Please see the solicitation for additional eligibility conditions.
