New Mexico Department of Health: Lea County Youth Development Programs to Prevent Unintended Teen Pregnancy
The New Mexico Department of Health seeks proposals for developing and supporting quality teen pregnancy prevention programming in Lea County in order to prevent unintended teen pregnancy. Programming should target high risk teens (11-15 years old) through primary teen pregnancy prevention (preventing the first unintended teen pregnancy).
Amount: No amounts listed. The proposal must include a detailed line-item budget indicating specific expenditures that link with the described activities and/or services.
Eligibility: Offerers must be 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations, and must demonstrate the expertise and capacity to deliver effective and evidence-based programs through either:
- Two years of documented experience in the delivery of teen pregnancy prevention programs to at-risk populations
- Two years of documented experience in the delivery of evidence-based health promotion or prevention programs for other health issues, and two years of documented experience in the delivery of services to the at-risk populations for which it is proposing programs
