New Mexico Department of Health: Rural Primary Health Care Act (RPHCA) Program
The New Mexico Department of Health (DOH) Rural Primary Health Care Act (RPHCA) Program will provide financial assistance to eligible programs that demonstrate a need for assistance in order to sustain a minimum level of delivery of primary care services in health care underserved areas of New Mexico. Clinics funded by RPHCA represent a significant component of the health care safety net for New Mexico. All RPHCA funded clinics must utilize sliding fee scales and cannot turn away a patient solely based on their inability to pay.
Amount: Contract awards will be made. Award amounts are not specified.
Eligibility: New Mexico non-profit, community-based entities; and local governments or tribal governments that provide primary health care services. See RFP for additional eligibility requirements.
Note: Applicants interested in submitting a proposal must submit the “Acknowledgement of Receipt of RFP/Intent to Submit” form by March 25, 2019.
