New Mexico Department of Health: School and Adolescent Health Training and Technical Assistance
The School and Adolescent Health Training and Technical Assistance solicitation will fund statewide partner(s) who will assist with training and technical assistance for school and community adolescent health care service providers. Training and technical assistance services will support and enhance the statewide school based health center (SBHC) and school and adolescent health programs by providing and linking qualified personnel familiar with national and state trends in school-based health center approaches, school nursing, and behavioral health.
Technical assistance priorities are identified informally and formally through discussions and partnership with the Office of School and Adolescent Health (OSAH) and other major stakeholders such as the Public Education Department, managed care organizations, and the New Mexico Human Services Department. This procurement will focus on demand-driven, practical, applied topics that are of direct, useful interest to schools and school health staff. The technical assistance services will also include the preparation of summary reports and training documents for various audiences and stakeholders indicating impact and results.
Amount: Contract(s) may be awarded for a period of up to four years.
Eligibility: Private for profit organizations, nonprofit organizations, and government agencies. Agencies that have experience with the OSAH are preferred but previous experience is not required.
