Nike N7 Fund: Native American Youth Sports Grants
The Nike N7 Fund is committed to inspiring and enabling participation in sport for Native American and Aboriginal populations in North America. It believes that sport has the power to unleash human potential, and a physically active lifestyle promotes more than exercise. Involvement in sports and physical activity leads to greater self-confidence, enabling youth to be a force for positive change in their communities. All proceeds from the Air Native N7, which is sold through Native American community centers and tribes, are given back to youth sport and physical activity programs in Native communities across North America through the N7 Fund. Programs must must serve the Native American or Aboriginal community (no less than 90%), serve youth ages 18 or younger, and have a sport or physical activity focus.
Amount: Grants of $15,000 or $20,000 will be awarded.
Eligibility: Nonprofit, 501(c)(3) public charity; federally-recognized Indian tribe; or a school (but schools must have a fiscal sponsor that has tax-exempt status).
