Nike N7 Fund: Native American Youth Sports GrantsDeadline: November 15, 2015
The Nike N7 Fund is committed to inspiring and enabling participation in sport for Native American and Aboriginal populations in North America. It believes that sport has the power to unleash human potential, and a physically active lifestyle promotes more than exercise. Involvement in sports and physical activity leads to greater self-confidence, enabling youth to be a force for positive change in their communities. All proceeds from the Air Native N7, which is sold through Native American community centers and tribes, are given back to youth sport and physical activity programs in Native communities across North America through the N7 Fund. Grant funds may be used to support ongoing sport and physical activity programming, versus one-time events or sponsorships.
Amount: Up to $10,000.
Eligibility: Nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organizations that support Native American and Aboriginal communities through sport and physical activity programming for youth; federally-recognized Indian tribes; and schools that have a fiscal sponsor with 501(c)(3) status.
