Taos County: Medical and Social Outreach Services for Taos CountyDeadline: February 16, 2018
Taos County will provide support to organizations and providers involved in the provision of health care services to eligible indigent population of Taos County in providing health care services and social outreach services. Also, provide evidence of health care services rendered for payment for services to an eligible indigent person(s).
Services shall include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Health care services
- Mental health services
- Health outreach services
- Educational programs
- Social services
Services supported may also include behavioral health care, preventative health care services, nutritional education, dental care, and public health and safety-related education, or implementation initiatives or other similar community services that can be demonstrated to promote improved health and quality of life of the indigent population within Taos County.
Funding is intended to work effectively with organizations that can provide health care services to their indigent population. The County is interested in funding organization that have a solid and effective plan to provide health care services to the indigent population that they serve that addresses immediate needs.
Amount: Contract awards will be made. Funding will be allocated on a reimbursement basis after the services have been delivered and the County is provided evidence of health care services rendered for payment for services to an eligible indigent person(s).
Eligibility: An agency which is a unit of state or local government and/or an agency currently incorporated as a nonprofit corporation, duly registered and in good standing with the State of New Mexico Public Regulation Commission, and/or an entity which has a not-for-profit status under the U.S. Internal Revenue Service Code and which has demonstrated capability in providing the services for which it is applying is an eligible responder.
