The Catholic FoundationDeadline: April 15, 2016
The Catholic Foundation collaborates with religious organizations and supports programs that involve historic preservation, religious education, social justice, and social services programs. In 2016, the Foundation’s grants will be open to all types of programs and projects.
Amount: Typically the Foundation awards “small grants” that range from $1,000-$7,000 each. In 2016, one “large grant” that ranges from $20,000-$25,000 will also be awarded.
Eligibility: To be eligible, an applicant must meet the following:
- The applicant must be tax-exempt under §501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
- The grant applicant must either be listed in the Official Catholic Directory of the Archdiocese of Santa Fe (“Directory”), or be actively engaged in a collaboration with a Catholic parish, school, or organization listed in the Directory. The pastor, principal or executive director of the sponsoring school, parish or organization must endorse the grant proposal of the collaborating organization.
