The Funders Network: Partners for Places – Round 18
Deadline: March 19, 2021Partners for Places is a matching grant program that creates opportunities for cities and counties in the United States and Canada to improve communities by building partnerships between local government leaders, community-led groups, and place-based local or regional foundations. Through the program, national funders invest in local projects to promote a healthy environment, a strong economy, and the well-being of all residents.
The current focus is on sustainable climate action and green stormwater infrastructure applications.
Amount: Awards will range between $25,000 and $75,000 for one-year projects, or $75,000 and $150,000 for two-year projects, with a 1:1 match required by one or more place-based foundations.
Eligibility: Local units of government.
Note: To apply, applicants are required to partner with place-based local or regional foundations.
