Thoma Foundation

The Thoma Art Foundation recognizes the power of the arts to challenge and shift perceptions, spark creativity, and connect people across cultures. It lends and exhibits artworks from its collection and supports innovative individuals and pivotal initiatives in the arts.

The Thoma Foundation accepts Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) on a rolling basis and reviews proposals quarterly on March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31. It funds projects aligned with its mission to challenge and shift perceptions, spark creativity, and connect people across cultures through the arts. The Foundation values long-term relationships with grantees and encourages them to connect with the Foundation before submitting an inquiry.

Amount: Past grants have ranged from $30,000-$300,000 and averaged $50,000.

Eligibility: 501(c)(3) organizations and individuals.
