The Wounded Warrior Service Dog Program (WWSDP) will fund programs committed to connecting service dogs with service members and veterans. Applicants must have been established for the purpose of training and providing service dogs. Organizations should be able to tailor a comprehensive plan to establish and operate a program to provide assistance dogs to service members and/or veterans with disabilities.
Amount: A total of $10,000,000 is available to make up to 25 awards historically ranging from $45,000-$586,800 and averaging $251,500.
Eligibility: Applicants must be nonprofit organizations who are in the business of training and providing service dogs. Pass-through entities will not be considered.
