U.S. Department of Health and Human Services: Street Outreach Program

The Street Outreach Program (SOP) will provide prevention and intervention services to runaway, homeless, and street youth younger than 21 years of age who have been subjected to or are at risk of being subjected to sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, and severe forms of trafficking and build relationships between street outreach workers and runaway, homeless, and street youth to move youth into stable housing and prepare them for independence.

Amount: Approximately $7,736,225 is available to make up to 52 awards ranging from $90,000-$150,000 and averaging $112,000 per year over a 36-month project period.

Eligibility: Public and non-profit private agencies and coordinated networks of such entities.
