Voya: Unsung Heroes Awards
Deadline: April 30, 2021The Voya Unsung Heroes program provides grants to K-12 educators nationwide with effective and innovative projects that improve student learning. All awards must be used to further the projects within the school or school system. Awards are granted without regard to race, color, creed, religion, age, gender, disability, or national origin.
Note: Applications must be verified by the school superintendent, principal or applicant’s immediate supervisor. If selected as a finalist, the school official will be contacted to verify employment status and proposed project.
Amount: Fifty finalists will be selected to receive a $2,000 award. Of the 50 finalists, three will be selected for additional awards: $25,000 for first place, $10,000 for second place, and $5,000 for third place.
Eligibility: Full-time educators, teachers, principals, paraprofessionals, and classified staff employed by accredited K-12 public or private schools in the U.S.
