Walton Family Foundation: Innovative Schools Program
The Walton Family Foundation’s Innovative Schools Program supports educators and entrepreneurs who open all types of schools that look and feel truly different and can help students achieve at the highest level. Since 2017, 14 schools have received a total of $4,000,000 in funding to open their doors and put students on a path to upward economic and social mobility. The program is designed to support schools that look and feel dramatically different, achieve unprecedented outcomes, serve high-need students, generate transformative opportunities, and produce analysis of their successes and challenges that can be shared with other schools.
Amount: Grants range up to $325,000.
Eligibility: No limitations indicated. Applicants must be opening new schools, in 2019 and beyond, anywhere in the United States.
