AT&T: Aspire Accelerator
The COVID-19 pandemic has forced more than 50 million U.S. students to learn from home. Yet nearly 17 million children are unable to take part because their families don’t have an internet connection or device to support digital learning. To help more people take advantage of ed-tech, the AT&T Aspire Accelerator is hosting a Skills Building Challenge to locate, support, and mentor eight startups working to redefine how students prepare for promising futures. It is seeking ed-tech startups creating solutions to improve online learning experiences whether in the classroom or not. Whether through free online learning libraries, science-based gamification or virtual reality field trips, the start-ups AT&T supports will drive the ed-tech adoption and help create equity in education.
