Department of Health and Human Services: Emergency Awards: Community-engaged COVID-19 Testing Interventions RADx-UP Phase II
The program – Community engaged COVID-19 Testing Interventions among Underserved and Vulnerable Populations RADx-UP Phase II – uses an emergency mechanism to support Phase II of the Rapid Acceleration of Diagnostics – Underserved Populations (RADx-UP) initiative. These two-year Testing Research Projects will (1) expand the scope and reach of RADx-UP testing interventions to reduce COVID-19 disparities among underserved and vulnerable populations, and (2) address scientific questions on interventions to increase access and uptake of COVID-19 testing given the increasing availability of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines.
Amount: $100,000,000 is available to fund 25-50 awards. Budgets in general are limited to $750,000 per year. Application budget requests over $750,000 in Direct Costs for any year must meet the additional criteria (see solicitation for details). The maximum period is 2 years.
Eligibility: Nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status with the IRS; city or township governments; tribal governments; tribal organizations; small businesses; institutions of higher education; independent school districts; for-profit organizations; state governments; special district governments; county governments; public housing authorities/Indian housing authorities.
