New Mexico Human Services Department: COVID Economic Relief for Families
The state of New Mexico is offering cash assistance to qualifying New Mexico residents. Payments will be provided to a household, on a first-come, first-serve basis and a limited number of form requests will be accepted based on funding availability.
Interested residents should complete the online screening form. An incomplete submission may disqualify an individual from consideration.
Amount: A one-time payment of up to $750 will be given to eligible households, depending on the number of eligible applicants.
Eligibility: Individuals must:
- Be a New Mexico resident
- Have a valid Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN), or a valid NM Drivers License or NM Identification Card (SSN or ITIN is preferred)
- Have not been eligible to receive an Economic Impact Payment (https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/economic-impact-payment-information-center-topic-a-eip-eligibility)
