U.S. Department of Health and Human Services: CARES Act COVID 19 Claims Reimbursement (Uninsured Program)
The COVID -19 Uninsured Program will provide claims reimbursement to health care providers for treating uninsured individuals with a COVID-19 primary diagnosis, and for COVID-19 vaccine administration to the uninsured. Providers who have conducted COVID-19 testing or provided treatment for uninsured individuals with a COVID-19 primary diagnosis on or after February 4, 2020, or provided COVID-19 vaccine administration to uninsured individuals once available, can electronically request claims reimbursement through the program.
Amount: Claims will be reimbursed generally at Medicare rates.
Eligibility: Providers of health care, services, and support in a medical setting, at home, or in the community are eligible.
