Annie’s Grants for Gardens
Annie’s is a food company with the mission to cultivate a healthier and happier world by spreading goodness through nourishing foods, honest words, and conduct that is considerate and forever kind to the planet. Annie’s offers Grants for Gardens donations to schools and other educational programs that help build school gardens. The school garden must be an edible school garden (growing fruits, vegetables, herbs, grains, etc.) and be located in the United States. Grant funds may be used to purchase any equipment appropriate for the garden, such as plants, seeds, raised beds, fencing, wheelbarrows, greenhouses, and drip irrigation systems.
Amount: Grants of $3,000 each will be awarded. Schools that have received a grant for their school garden from Annie’s in the past five years are reviewed separately and are eligible for one of three $5,000 grants.
Eligibility: The following types of organizations are eligible to apply:
- Public schools
- Public charter schools
- Private schools with 501(c)(3) nonprofit status
- 501(c)(3) or charity nonprofit organizations supporting a garden at a public or a non-profit private school
- School districts supporting a garden at a public or a non-profit private school
