Captain Planet Foundation: ecoSolution Grants
The mission of the Captain Planet Foundation is to give the next generation of environmental stewards an active understanding and love for the natural world in which they live. The Foundation funds and supports hands-on environmental projects that inspire and empower children and youth around the world as they work individually and collectively creating environmental solutions in their homes, schools, and communities.
ecoSolution Grants are intended to support solution-oriented, youth-led projects that result in real environmental outcomes. These grants support direct project costs such as the purchase of materials and other expenses required to implement the project. ecoSolution grants must be based in the U.S., solution-oriented, project-based, youth-led, and result in demonstrable environmental outcomes.
Eligibility: Applicant organizations must be exempt from federal taxation under the IRS Section 501, or have a fiscal sponsor that meets this criterion; and maintain an annual operating budget of less than $3 million.
Amount: ecoSolution grants range from $500-$2,500.
