CEC ArtsLink ProjectsDeadline: January 15, 2015
ArtsLink Projects provides support to U.S. artists, curators, presenters and arts organizations undertaking projects in any of the 37 eligible countries listed below. Applicants must be working with an artist or organization in that region and projects should be designed to benefit participants and audiences in both the U.S. and the host country. In 2015, applications will be accepted from individual artists, presenters, and non-profit arts organizations working in visual and media arts.
Support is provided to:
- Create new work that draws inspiration from interaction with artists and the community in the country visited
- establish mutually beneficial exchange of ideas and expertise between artists, arts organizations, and the local community
- Pursue artistic cooperation that will enrich creative or professional development, or has potential to expand the community’s access to the art of other cultures
Amount: Up to $10,000 each.
Eligibility: Students, administrators, critics, and amateur groups are not eligible to apply. Projects focusing solely on research and film/video post-production are not eligible. Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of the United States. Eligible countires: Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, Palestine, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
Note: In 2016, applications will be accepted from individual artists, curators and non-profit arts organizations working in dance, music, theater and literature. ArtsLink has a cycle of alternate year deadlines according to discipline.
