Dollar General Literacy Foundation: Family Literacy Grants

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation’s Family Literacy Grants provide funding to family literacy service providers. Organizations applying for funding must have the following three components:

• Adult Education Instruction
• Children’s Education
• Parent and Child Together Time (PACT)

Amount: Grants of up to $15,000 will be awarded.

Eligibility: 501(c)(3) organizations with a valid IRS tax ID; K-12 private or public schools; colleges or universities; and public libraries. Organizations must provide direct services and be located within 20 miles of a Dollar General store. Organizations must be listed in the National Literacy Directory (http://www.nationalliteracydirectory.org/).
