Dollar General Literacy Foundation: Summer Reading Grants
The Dollar General Literacy Foundation awards funding to support the creation or expansion of summer reading programs. Organizations are eligible to apply if their programs meet the following criteria:
- Target Pre-K–12th grade students who are new readers
- Target below grade level readers
- Assist readers with learning disabilities
Amount: Grants range up to $3,000.
Eligibility: 501(c)(3) organizations with a valid IRS tax ID and public libraries. Organizations must provide direct services and be located within 20 miles of a Dollar General store.
