New Mexico Department of Tourism: Cooperative Marketing Grant ProgramDeadline: May 23, 2017
In support of the Tourism Department’s mission to make New Mexico the primary destination for adventuresome travelers, the Cooperative Marketing Grant Program (Co-Op) offers an avenue for tourism related, non-profit organizations, local, and tribal governments to attract visitors to their destinations and events through advertising. The Co-Op program allows organizations to leverage the successful New Mexico True brand, building on millions of cumulative brand impressions to draw visitors to their destination.
The Co-Op program offers tools and resources for eligible entities to share the message that adventure that feeds the soul starts here by attracting visitors to their destinations and events through advertising that leverages the success of New Mexico True and builds on millions of cumulative brand impressions. In 2018, there will be two options for applicants:
- Media Menu Program (MMP) with customized plans designed from a robust list of print, out-of-home and digital offerings
- Flexible Spending Program (Flex) for self-directed media placement (available following MMP awards announcement)
Amount: In 2017, a total of $212,187 was awarded through the Media Menu Program with awards ranging from $3,855-$49,685; a total of $325,717 was awarded through the Flex Program with awards ranging from $3,500-$10,000. The total amount available in 2018 is not yet specified.
