NM Children, Youth and Families Department: Next Generation Fund
The Next Generation Fund, administered under the Children’s Trust Fund (CTF), provides grants to organizations that provide positive youth development programs in an authentic, proactive, and trauma-informed manner.
To comply with the intent of this funding, the project must meet at least one of the following requirements:
1. Provide positive child and youth development activities that support physical, mental, and social well-being.
2. Promote strong, healthy families and help to prevent child abuse and neglect.
3. Promote community service, leadership, and civic engagement; and/or
4. Provide community coordination of child and youth development programming across the age of birth to twenty-four years developmental continuums.
Amount: Grant awards of up to $60,000 each will be made.
Eligibility: Eligible applicants shall be a public/private nonprofit corporation 501(c) (3); a government agency including public schools, tribal units and institutions of higher education; or a New Mexico For-Profit Corporation.
Proposed projects must target underserved populations and communities in New Mexico.
