Pillars Fund believes that strong leaders and institutions are key to creating a world where American Muslims can live and thrive with dignity. Pillars Fund has a competitive grant making process to advance three priorities:
- Rights: Pillars Fund supports social and policy change efforts that protect and expand the human and civil rights of all people
- Wellness: Pillars Fund supports the growth and nurturing of whole, healthy American Muslim communities
- Understanding: Pillars Fund supports a range of approaches to amplify American Muslim voices and create a deeper understanding of American Muslims
Amount: Typical Pillars Fund grants range from $10,000-$50,000.
Eligibility: Grantees must have 501(c)(3) status or a fiscal agent with 501(c)(3) status. While it does not fund the building or maintenance of mosques, religious centers, or schools, Pillars Fund grants may be used to support programs based in those institutions.
