Region IX Education Cooperative: Preschool Development Grant – Birth to 5 Media Campaign and Video ExemplarsDeadline: September 6, 2019
Region IX Education Cooperative on behalf of Children, Youth and Families Department (CYFD) is soliciting proposals from highly qualified individuals or organizations to conduct a statewide early learning marketing campaign and video exemplars of best practices. This work will be conducted as part of the Preschool Development Grant Birth -5 (PDG B-5) in order to build a strong early learning system for children birth to five and their families. The vision of the PDG B-5 is that: Each and every child, prenatal to age five, and their families in New Mexico will have equitable access to quality early learning opportunities to support their development, health, and well-being to ensure that they are ready to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.
The Scope of Work includes the following activities and deliverables:
- Implement the statewide early learning marketing campaign to promote messages about the importance of the early years for brain development for children prenatal to age 5, and the important role that families play in supporting their child’s brain building, along with the importance of quality early learning experiences to promote school readiness.
- Video exemplars of best practices that (a) feature New Mexico early childhood professionals engaged in a variety of best teaching practices with young children teaching; and (b) will include comments from early childhood experts. The video exemplars will be used by coaches and consultants one-on-one in the classroom or remote consultation using web conference technology and can also be used in group workshops. These video exemplars will also serve as resources to increase parental knowledge in how children learn and how to support their learning.
Amount: Single or multiple contractual award(s) will be made.
Eligibility: An Offeror is defined as “any person, corporation, or partnership who chooses to submit a proposal.” Eligible applicants include public or private organizations with documented and demonstrated ability to provide the required services.
