Scotts Miracle-Gro: GRO1000 Grants

GRO1000 is a community outreach initiative dedicated to bringing the benefits of gardens and green spaces to more neighborhoods, schools, and communities, particularly to those in need. Grants are awarded to local communities to help bring pollinator habitats, edible gardens, and public green spaces to neighborhoods across the United States.

Grants are awarded based on how closely the grant application aligns with GRO1000’s mission, including:

• Creating positive community influence and impact
• Involving area youth
• Promoting health and wellness
• Donating harvest yields
• Committing to sustaining or growing the project
• Creating gardens that serve as pollinator-friendly habitats

Amount: Up to $1,500 each.

Eligibility: Organizations with 501(c)(3) status and other organizations with tax exempt status such as school districts, universities, and government entities.
