Starkey Hearing Foundation: So the World May Hear

The Starkey Hearing Foundation brings understanding among people through hearing care by focusing on awareness, education, protection, and treatment. So The World May Hear is about bringing understanding between people through caring and sharing. The Foundation believes caring develops trust and by sharing people find their humanity. It believes by growing engagement in this cause that the Foundation can increase tolerance and respect for life. The Foundation’s goal is to pursue this mission so that future generations can live in a world with more caring and peace. The Foundation will support applicants that demonstrate that the grant funds will be used for a purpose that promotes the humanitarian spirit of the Foundation’s mission.

The Foundation’s primary focus is on hearing healthcare, however, related areas such as health, human services, education, and community projects are also considered.

Eligibility:

• Domestic applicants must be currently qualified by the Internal Revenue Service as a Code section 501(c)(3) public charity and in compliance with applicable State Attorney General requirements.
• International applicants must submit sufficient financial, tax, and organizational information so the Board may determine the operations are similar to those of a Code section 501(c)(3) public charity.
