TJX FoundationDeadline: November 17, 2017
The TJX Foundation’s mission is to help families who need it most build a better future – a future where families’ and children’s critical basic needs are met and where they have access to the opportunities they need to succeed and thrive. The Foundation supports communities where the TJX companies (T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, and Sierra Trading Post) conduct business. Grants are provided to organizations that focus on:
- Basic needs for those in poverty
- Education and training for at-risk young people
- Safety from domestic violence
Amount: Grants average around $5,000 each.
Eligibility: Tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations that are registered as a 501(c)(3) and have been registered for at least the past 12 months. Organizations must be located within 15 miles of a TJX store, distribution center, or office.
