TJX Foundation
The TJX Foundation’s mission is to contribute to programs that provide basic services to disadvantaged women, children, and families in the communities where the TJX companies (T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, and HomeGoods) conduct business. Grants are provided to organizations that focus on:
Basic critical needs for families and children in need:
- Access to food, shelter, clothing
- Lives free from domestic abuse
Access to opportunities for youth in need:
- Programs outside school that enable school success in preK-12
- Workforce readiness for youth (16-24 year olds)
Amount: Annual giving is $11,106,726 with grants ranging from $1,000-$400,500 and averaging $5,000.
Eligibility: Tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations that are registered as a 501(c)(3) and have been registered for at least the past 12 months. Organizations must be located within 15 miles of a TJX store, distribution center, or office.
