U.S. Department of Health and Human Services: American Rescue Plan Act – Pediatric Mental Health Care Access – New Area Expansion
The Pediatric Mental Health Care Access (PMHCA) aims to promote behavioral health integration into pediatric primary care by supporting pediatric mental health care telehealth access programs. The current funding opportunity will expand the PMHCA program into new states and geographic areas. New or newly expanded state or regional networks of pediatric mental health care teams will provide tele-consultation, training, technical assistance, and care coordination support for pediatric primary care providers to diagnose, treat, and refer children with behavioral health conditions.
Amount: $4,450,000 is available to make up to 10 awards.
Eligibility: States, political subdivisions of states, and Indian Tribes and tribal organizations that are not existing recipients of HRSA PMHCA awards.
Note: New Mexico is an existing recipient, however, Indian Tribes and Tribal organizations in states with existing awards are eligible to apply separately.
