U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development: Community Development Block Grant Program for Indian Tribes and Alaska Native Villages
The purpose of the Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG program) is the development of viable Indian and Alaska Native communities, including the creation of decent housing, suitable living environments, and economic opportunities primarily for persons with low- and moderate- incomes.
Amount: Approximately $65,000,000 is available to make up to 120 awards ranging from $50,000-$7,000,000 per project period.
Eligibility: Federally recognized Native American tribal governments and Native American tribal organizations.
