2023 Inno Under 25. September 1, 2023.

2023 Inno Under 25 Albuquerque Business First is looking for the most successful startup founders, entrepreneurs and those making waves in building the economy in New Mexico for our Inno Under 25 feature. This could be a person who has started or grown a young company or is quickly advancing and innovating at an established company or organization. The general theme around the publication will be innovation.

Education Research Grants Program. September 21, 2023.

In this request for applications, NCER invites applications for research to help improve education experiences and outcomes for learners in the United States. Through this program, IES supports both basic and applied research that contributes to scientific knowledge and theory of teaching, learning, and organizing education systems; yields outcomes and products that are useful to learners and the educators and education institutions that serve them; and informs stakeholders about the cost and practical benefits and effects of programs, practices, and policies on relevant outcomes for learners across the lifespan.

Special Education Research Grants Program. September 21, 2023.

The purpose of the Special Education Research Grants Program (ALN 84.324A) is to foster solutions to pressing problems faced by students with or at risk for disabilities, their families, and education systems. IES intends for this program to: (1) develop new approaches to teaching, learning, and assessment, as well as encourage the rethinking of education finance, policies, and systems-level programs that support students with disabilities from birth through postsecondary education; and (2) build the evidence base necessary to better assess, intervene, and support learners with disabilities to improve their education and post-school outcomes.

The Northeastern Regional Health Fund. September 25, 2023.

The Northeastern Regional Health Fund was established to support organizations doing health-related work in the counties of San Miguel, Mora, Guadalupe, Colfax, Harding, Union, and Quay. The 2023 grant cycle will award grants to groups that work to improve the health and well-being of community members by providing access to healthcare services (including mental health) or health awareness and/or education programs.

Postsecondary Student Success Grant Program. September 25, 2023.

The purpose of this program is to equitably improve postsecondary student outcomes, including retention, transfer (including successful transfer of completed credits), credit accumulation, and completion, by leveraging data and implementing, scaling, and rigorously evaluating evidence-based activities to support data-driven decisions and actions by institutional leaders committed to inclusive student success.

Farm To School Technical Assistance-Cooperative Agreement. October 10, 2023.

The purpose of the Farm to School Technical Assistance Cooperative Agreement described in this request for applications (RFA) is to support nonprofit entities and Indian Tribal Organizations to implement national- and/or regional-level farm to school activities. Awardees under this cooperative agreement will undertake projects supporting USDA’s priorities of Food System Transformation, Improving Child Health through Nutritious School Meals, and Indigenous Food Sovereignty.

Community Wildfire Defense Grant 2023 Tribes. October 31, 2023.

The purpose of the Community Wildfire Defense Grant is to assist at-risk local communities and Indian Tribes with planning and mitigating against the risk created by wildfire. The Act prioritizes at-risk communities in an area identified as having high or very high wildfire hazard potential, are low-income, and/or have been impacted by a severe disaster. More details on these three priorities can be found in the Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFOs).
