BlackRock Future Builders National Request for Proposals (RFP)
- Deadline: July 10, 2026
- Purpose: This initiative supports high-quality skilled trades training and capacity building to expand economic opportunity and power the next generation of America’s infrastructure workforce. Funding focuses on increasing access to trade pathways (such as electrical, HVAC, and plumbing), accelerating training completion, and integrating financial education tools.
- Award Size: Two-year grants ranging from $500,000 – $1,000,000.
- Eligibility: U.S.-based nonprofit organizations (including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands) recognized as 501(c)(3) public charities. Applicants must deliver or support skilled trades training that demonstrates a connection to infrastructure-related industries, request funding for a specific project rather than general operations, and typically maintain administrative/fundraising overhead at or below 25% of their annual budget.

NM Food Pathways Grant Program
- Deadline: July 1 through July 15, 2026 (Letter of Interest)
- Purpose: To help New Mexico food retailers and community food organizations strengthen their retail operations and expand access to healthy, affordable, and locally sourced foods. The program funds practical, implementation-ready upgrades to existing infrastructure such as cold storage, merchandising equipment, and tools supporting SNAP access, especially within rural, Tribal, frontier, and underserved communities.
- Award Size: Funding tiers: $25,000, $50,000, or $100,000.
- Eligibility: New Mexico food retailers and community food organizations including small grocers, cooperative markets, mobile markets, local government and other community-serving retail models operating within rural, Tribal, frontier, or underserved communities. Projects must focus on equipment and operational improvements within existing facilities.

Tribal Behavioral Health: Suicide Prevention
- Deadline: July 16, 2026
- Purpose: This program aims to prevent suicide, suicide attempts, and deaths by suicide among American Indian and Alaska Native (AI/AN) youth and young adults through age 24. Funding supports Tribal communities in implementing culturally appropriate, community-based suicide prevention and early intervention strategies.
- Award Size: Estimated total program funding of $15,381,824 across approximately 44 expected awards. Individual award sizes range up to a maximum of $350,000.
- Eligibility: Limited to federally recognized American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) tribes and tribal organizations, Urban Indian Organizations, or consortia of tribes or tribal organizations (as identified by the American Indian Education Consortium).

Maternal Produce Prescription Program (MP3)
- Deadline: July 17, 2026 (Applications must be submitted electronically no later than 11:59 p.m. ET).
- Purpose: This program provides grants to develop and implement community-based produce prescription programs and related nutrition education. The initiative focuses on supporting maternal populations who are at risk of poor health outcomes due to nutrition insecurity and other health-related factors.
- Award Size: Up to $500,000 per award (Estimated Total Program Funding is $13,000,000, with 26 expected awards. No cost sharing or matching is required).
- Eligibility: Broadly open to state, county, city, township, and special district governments; federally recognized Native American tribal governments and tribal organizations; independent school districts; public, state, and private institutions of higher education; nonprofits (with or without 501(c)(3) status); and for-profit organizations, including small businesses.

Food and Agriculture Service Learning Program (FASLP)
- Deadline: July 20, 2026
- Purpose: The FASLP program aims to increase knowledge of agriculture and improve the nutritional health of children. By bringing together stakeholders from distinct parts of the food system, the program increases the capacity for food, garden, and nutrition education within host organizations like school cafeterias and classrooms. These efforts help decrease food loss and waste while fostering community engagement between farms and school systems.
- Award Size: $200,000 – $230,000
- Eligibility: Limited to state agricultural experiment stations; colleges and universities; university research foundations; other research institutions and organizations; federal agencies; national laboratories; individuals; or private organizations, nonprofit organizations, foundations, or corporations. Any group consisting of two or more of these entities is also eligible, and project partners/collaborators do not need to meet the eligibility requirements themselves.

Training and Technical Assistance (TA) Program for Rural, Small, and Tribal Wastewater Systems
- Deadline: August 14, 2026
- Purpose: This program provides training and technical assistance to support rural, small, and tribal wastewater systems. Funding helps these communities improve their technical, managerial, and financial capacity; protect water quality and maintain compliance; secure financing and funding for infrastructure improvements; and address challenges related to decentralized wastewater systems (such as septic systems).
- Award Size: The total estimated program funding available is $25,500,000.
- Eligibility: Public and private nonprofit organizations that are qualified and experienced in providing on-site training and technical assistance to small publicly owned treatment works and decentralized wastewater systems. For-profit organizations, states, municipalities, and tribal governments are generally not eligible to apply as the primary grant recipient for this specific TA provider funding.

Competitive Community Grants — Fall Cycle

- Purpose: To improve community well-being by funding projects across several major target categories, including animal welfare, arts and culture, educational outcomes, and environmental resilience.
- Award Size: $5,000 to $20,000 (Varies based on the applicant’s annual operating budget)

Native American Advised Fund

- Purpose: To enhance and sustain Native lifeways across New Mexico by supporting community initiatives rooted in Native core values, specifically community, language, culture, and environment. Administered by an all-Native advisory committee, this fund provides critical resources for Indigenous-led and Indigenous-serving programs to promote a spirit of sharing and long-term community resilience.

Envision Fund

- Purpose: To promote the health, safety, and empowerment of at-risk and underserved LGBTQ+ individuals across New Mexico. The fund supports initiatives dedicated to creating an HIV-free generation, combating discrimination in critical areas like employment and housing, creating safe school environments, and expanding access to gender-affirming and holistic reproductive healthcare.

Tribal Broadband Connectivity Program

- Purpose: This program provides funding for grants to eligible entities to expand access to and adoption of broadband service on Tribal Land, as well as programs that promote remote learning, telework, or telehealth resources.
- Award Size: Not specified (Estimated 150 expected awards. No cost sharing or matching requirement).
- Eligibility: Eligible applicants include Tribal Governments, Tribal Colleges or Universities, the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (on behalf of the Native Hawaiian Community, including Native Hawaiian Education Programs), Tribal organizations, and Alaska Native Corporations.
