Replicating Effective Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) Programs
- Deadline: July 23, 2026 (Applications must be submitted electronically via Grants.gov no later than 6:00 p.m. ET).
- Purpose: This opportunity supports the replication of evidence-based, medically accurate, and age-appropriate teen pregnancy prevention programs. The grant aims to reduce teen pregnancy and advance overall adolescent health by providing education and counseling that help youth understand their bodies, clarify reproductive life goals, and make informed health decisions.
- Award Size: $900,000 to $2,000,000 per year for up to two years (with a possible third-year extension).
- Eligibility: Open to any public or private entity. Eligible applicants include state, county, city, township, and special district governments; independent school districts; public, state, and private institutions of higher education; federally recognized Native American tribal governments and tribal organizations; public and Indian housing authorities; nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status; and for-profit organizations.
- Funder: Office of Population Affairs (OPA) within the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
Mental Health Awareness Training Grants
- Deadline: July 27, 2026
- Purpose: This grant program funds organizations to implement mental health awareness and literacy training. Proposals should focus on delivering training that improves mental health knowledge and awareness within communities. Up to three awards may be made specifically to tribes or tribal organizations, depending on application volume.
- Award Size: Up to $200,000
- Eligibility: Open to States, political subdivisions of States, Indian Tribes, Tribal organizations, and nonprofit private entities.
- Funder: Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA)
Foundation for Rural Service Community Grant Program
- Deadline: September 4, 2026. Applicants must submit their proposals to a local NTCA (Rural Broadband Association) member partner by the partner’s chosen deadline, prior to this final date.
- Purpose: The program supports local efforts to build and sustain a high quality of life in rural communities across America. It funds projects concentrated in four major categories: Business & Economic Development, Education & Workforce, Health & Well-being, and Public Service & First Responders.
- Award Size: Grants range from $250 to $5,000.
- Eligibility: Nonprofit organizations, schools, community groups, and municipalities in rural areas are eligible. Applications must be submitted through a partnering NTCA member, and organizations that received FRS grant funding within the past two years are not eligible to apply.
- Funder: Foundation for Rural Service (FRS)
Native Entities Grant Program (NEGP)
- Deadline: September 17, 2026 (Applications must be received by 11:59 p.m. ET. Applications submitted by mail must be postmarked by this date and time).
- Purpose: This program makes grant funds available to Native Entities to carry out activities consistent with the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. It is part of the Digital Equity Act programs designed to advance broadband deployment, mapping, and adoption on tribal lands, as well as support digital equity efforts like telehealth and distance learning.
- Award Size: $500,000 to $2,500,000 (A 10% cost-matching requirement applies, though applicants may petition for a waiver).
- Eligibility: Eligible entities include Indian Tribes, Alaska Native entities, Native Hawaiian organizations, or a consortium/partnership of these eligible entities. Applicants must submit a Tribal Government Resolution or an equivalent formal authorization.
- Funder: National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), U.S. Department of Commerce
2026 American Country Music Lifting Lives Grant Cycle
- Deadline: August 7, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. CST.
- Purpose: The ACM Lifting Lives Grant Cycle supports innovative music therapy initiatives designed to improve mental, physical, and emotional health outcomes for individuals and communities. Funded projects may include clinical music therapy in care-centered environments, therapeutic interventions in schools or communities, and direct mental health services for music industry professionals.
- Award Size: Approximately $5,000 to $20,000.
- Eligibility: Qualified U.S.-based 501(c)(3) public charities in good standing. The program will not fund music education, fundraisers, lobbying, building and capital campaigns, endowments, or debt retirement.
- Funder: ACM Lifting Lives
Simply Organic Giving Fund Grant Program
- Deadline: August 14, 2026
- Purpose: The Simply Organic Giving Fund Grant Program aims to address systemic food insecurity across the United States and Canada. The program supports non-profit organizations that are dedicated to providing food-insecure populations with access to healthy, nutrient-dense, and organic food options.
- Award Size: $30,000–$150,000
- Eligibility: Open to U.S. and Canadian non-profit, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations serving food-insecure communities. The fund does not support organizations, programs, or expenses that are politically motivated or promote religious activities.
- Funder: Simply Organic (Frontier Co-op)
Sociological Initiatives Foundation Grants
- Deadline: August 14, 2026, for short concept applications. A limited number of applicants will be invited in November to submit full proposals.
- Purpose: The Sociological Initiatives Foundation supports social change by linking research to social action. It funds community-based research projects that investigate laws, policies, institutions, regulations, and normative practices that may limit equality in the U.S., with a priority on addressing racism, xenophobia, classism, gender bias, and human rights violations. The research should build an organization’s or constituency’s potential to expand public knowledge, impact policy, and create social change.
- Award Size: $15,000 to $30,000.
- Eligibility: 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the United States and its territories. Priority is given to community-academic partnerships, advocacy or community groups, and academics allied with a constituency through their research. Academic institutions may apply, but are expected to apply with a community partner. The Foundation does not make grants to individuals or for dissertation research.
- Funder: Sociological Initiatives Foundation
Small Health Care Provider Quality Improvement Program (HRSA-26-046)
- Deadline: August 6, 2026 (Applications must be submitted electronically no later than 11:59 p.m. ET).
- Purpose: This program aims to strengthen the quality improvement culture in small rural healthcare facilities by building capacity to effectively collect and use clinical data, with a specific focus on improving chronic disease outcomes. The funding also supports enhancing the skills and collaboration of billing and coding staff with frontline clinical staff, ultimately better positioning these facilities to participate in value-based care models.
- Award Size: Up to $250,000 per year over a four-year project period (Total program funding is estimated at $5,000,000 with up to 20 expected awards. There is no cost-sharing or matching requirement).
- Eligibility: Eligible applicants must be rural domestic public or nonprofit private health care providers or providers of health care services (such as a critical access hospital or a rural health clinic). The applicant organization must be located in a rural area. Eligible entities include state, county, city, township, and special district governments; Native American tribal governments and organizations; public and state-controlled institutions of higher education; and nonprofits with or without 501(c)(3) status.
- Funder: Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
2026 Innovation Project Grants
- Deadline: August 17, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EDT.
- Purpose: This opportunity supports new, one-time, and forward-thinking projects that aim to address critical infrastructural or structural challenges within the field. If improved or solved, these projects should ultimately strengthen the abilities of literary arts nonprofits to better serve adult creative writers and readers.
- Award Size: $25,000 to $100,000 (No matching funds required).
- Eligibility: Independent U.S.-based literary arts nonprofits, presses, publications, or fiscally sponsored organizations whose primary mission directly supports adult creative writers. Applicants must be established for at least three years (post-pilot) and have an executive director who has served for a minimum of 12 consecutive months.
- Funder: Literary Arts Fund
First Responders-Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act
- Deadline: July 27, 2026 (A Pre-Application Webinar is scheduled for July 9, 2026).
- Purpose: This program aims to train first responders and key community members to administer and distribute FDA-approved opioid overdose reversal medications (OORM). Grantees will also establish processes for referring individuals to appropriate substance use treatment and recovery support services.
- Award Size: Up to $800,000 per award (Estimated Total Program Funding: $34,700,000). Eligibility: Statutorily limited to states, local governmental entities, and American Indian/Alaska Native (AI/AN) tribes and tribal organizations.
