Upcoming Training & Capacity Building Opportunities

The Grant Plant’s Federal Grant Management Training has sold out. We are looking forward to seeing all of our participants next week. To join the waitlist, please complete the form available on the event’s webpage.

We are planning to roll out a series of training and capacity building opportunities in 2025. Completing the form on our website will help us notify you when our schedule is finalized.

You may know that our past capacity building opportunities were offered under our nonprofit education arm, Pivotal New Mexico (rebranded from The Grants Collective). Pivotal discontinued services in 2022 and TGP is looking forward to bringing some of these programs back in-house. Please take a look at some of the offerings we are musing over and let us know what would be of interest to you!

Trainings:

  • 12-month webinar series on federal grant management and compliance with live office hours
  • In-person 3-day workshop tailored to federal grant seeking, including agency requirements, forms, best practices, grant regulations, scoring, budgets, etc.
  • In-person 3-day workshop as an introduction to general grant seeking, including getting your grant office set up and understanding how grants fit into your resource development efforts

Technical Assistance:

  • Twice/monthly peer network group with expert-led facilitation to increase complex grant knowledge
  • Assistance with detailed reports, consultation on federal regulations, grant requirements, and compliance best practices
  • “Ask me anything” office hours once/week
  • A boilerplate set of written internal control policies based on the Uniform Grant Guidance (e.g., travel policies, procurement policies, data management policies, subaward agreements, subaward recipient monitoring policies) with sections for clients to customize. 
  • Customization of policies for your specific circumstances/needs
